Since 1984, Palomar Pomerado Health Foundation has been committed to enhancing the quality of healthcare in the Inland North County service area by encouraging philanthropic support of Palomar Medical Center and Pomerado Hospital.  Its influences have been felt in the communities of: Escondido, Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Pala, Pauma, Valley Center, Ramona, Julian, San Marcos, Rancho Penasquitos, Temecula, Rancho Santa Fe and other outlying areas.

The Foundation’s mission is to provide services and healthcare related experiences over and above what the current health system provides to the North County community.  The Foundation is the margin of excellence between the delivery of adequate healthcare and exceptional healthcare to the community it serves. New facilities and services are needed, and the Foundation plays a vital role by being the catalyst for individuals, families and business partners to contribute to these vital opportunities.
